The meeting between the Georgian Dream and the opposition on constitutional amendments will be held next week. At the end of the day, the majority meeting ended without a decision on the concrete day and format.

The ruling team says they will not change their position on the principle issues related to the election system, land alienation issue, and record on marriage. However, according to Giorgi Volsky, they can speak with opposition about election barriers and blocks.

The Chairman of the Legal Issues Committee states that the majority is waiting for the united position of the opposition.

"There is no change in procedure even from this point of view. We are ready for a meeting, for talks, but we expect the united position of the opposition for this meeting, " - Eka Beselia said.
