Parliamentary majority assesses presidential veto as an attempt to attract attention

Discussion on the laws of the Parliament of Georgia and the President"s motivated remarks starts at the committee level today. Members of the parliamentary majority say that the president has political motivation and is in the mode of pre-election campaign.

The ruling team states that the changes that they have developed are important and they are needed for the country"s democratic development.

"When you argue professionally, there is one content of this dispute, but when you are subjective, there is a different expression, other forms and unfortunately I can say that I see this in the case of Mr. President," said Gia Volski.

The Parliamentary majority assesses the president"s veto as an attempt to attract attention.

"I think the veto has been used to attract more attention to his position, his arguments," Archil Talakvadze said.
