Discrimination of Georgians - Ketevan Tsikhelashvili on teaching Russian in Tskhinvali region

 

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, Georgian State Minister considers the issue of transition to Russian-language learning in schools of the occupied Tskhinvali region as discrimination against Georgians.

According to Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, the occupational regime persecutes ethnic Georgians and their fundamental rights .

"Regrettably, in the Gali district and intentional policy is being undertaken for years. They pressure ethnic Georgians, discriminate on ethnic grounds. This is expressed primarily by limiting access to education in native language., "Ketevan Tsikhelashvili said.
