Fire in Abastumani - Ukrainian plane expected in the disaster zone

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia confirms the information about involvement of Ukrainian aircraft in the fire-extinguishing operation in Abastumani.

According to the Minister , Georgia has sent a request for assistance to other countries as well, However Russia is not between them at this time. Giorgi Mgebrishvili made an announcement in the morning, after the completion of the emergency staff meeting.

According to him the active works are underway to extinguish fire in Abastumani forest.
