Fire in Abastumani - Locals speak about sabotage

Fire is not localized in Abastumani forest yet. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, about 5 to 7 hectares of forests has burned down.

Aviation is working on the ground . According to Giorgi Mgebrishvili, 1000 people are involved in the works.

An Ukrainian airjet is expected to Abastumani in the nearest future.

Strong fire in Abastumani caused problems for the population. reportedly, a reservoire of water has been damaged and water supply was terminated.

The locals say that the cause of fire may be a sabotage.
