The officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a 26-year-old man for robbery, assault on policemen and for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that the detainee has been convicted of stealing and is under probation.

According to the investigation, the detainee attacked one of the shops in Gldani, a fruit-vegetable on January 12. On January 15, the defendant did not obey the legitimate requirement of the police and carried out several shots from the firearms and hid.

The crime envisages from 8 to 12 years of imprisonment.
