The press service of the Prime Minister of Georgia, , responded to the statement made by Alexander Lukashenko in the Parliament of Belarus in which he compared Giorgi Kvirikashvili to a Russian man.
According to the press service, at the meeting of the government administration, along with other important topics, Russian-Georgian relations and the pragmatic policy of the Government of Georgia were discussed.
"The Prime Minister said that no one in Georgia has any aggression against the Russian people, and 1.5 million tourists from Russia enter the country and there is no confrontation.In the same context Giorgi Kvirikashvili told the Belarusian President that he had a Russian grandmother, the prime minister pointed out that there are people-to-people, humanitarian and cultural ties. However, when speaking about the prospect of normalization of Georgia-Russia relations, Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili stressed that there are red lines in relations between the two countries , and this is the sovereignty and territorial integrity. In this regard, the Russian authorities are not taking steps, "- said the press service.
