A Special police officer was found dead in the village of Ditsi, near the occupation line in Gori district.

According to the information, Nugzar Barishvili, 43, was wounded in the abdomen. According to the family, Barishvili died on the spot.

His mother works as a chef on the same base, she learned about her son"s death only after she had arrived at the base. As he says, the agency has not provided any information.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the deceased has no trace of violence on his body.

An investigation into the case is underway under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

The family believes that Nugzar Barishvili was killed.
