"Georgian Dream" confirms that the new government formation process has begun. The Chairman of the Parliament today confirmed that the new Prime Minister, together with the chairperson of the party, began minimizing ministries and selection of new ministers.

Within three weeks, 11 out of 14 Ministries will remain and out of 11 ministers there will be several new. "Georgian Dream" do not name specific persons. The ruling party says that at first they have to come to the agreement and the Prime Minister will name the cabinet afterwards.

In the office of the "Georgian Dream" it was discussed behind closed doors who will leave the government.

At this stage, information is being provided that several ministries are to be united. As it is known, the Ministries of Justice and Penitentiary will be merged. It is also known that mergers of education and culture ministries are planned. The Ministry of IDPs will be annulled, part of the functions will be transferred to the Ministry of Infrastructure and part to the Healthcare Ministry. The MPs say that the reduction of staff is not planned after the merger of the agencies.Then the question arises, why optimization is carried out and how the government is going to save 120 million GEL.

The opposition is convinced that the ruling party deceives the public. "National Movement" and "European Georgia" state that "Georgian Dream" does not intend to cut bureaucratic and administrative costs.
