The Opposition reacts to the scandal, linked to tenders, won by Petre Devrishadze, who has been convicted for spying in favour of Russia .

Members of United National Movement say that the fact is immoral and demonstrates no security in the country.

"This is a complete catastrophe. It just tells us that there is no more security, no moral, no political criteria in the Ministry of Defense," said Grigol Vashadze.

Bachuki Kardava, the leader of National Democratic Party speaks of responsibility of Defense and Interior minister ". He claims that both of them should resign immediately.

"I think and hope that the parliamentary opposition will raise the issue of resignation of the Defence minister," Bachuki Kardava said.
