Nomination of Candidates for the Chief Prosecutor"s Office has been completed. The Minister of Justice should choose 3 out of 21 candidates. The process will start from Monday after Tea Tsulukiani returns from vacation. Shalva Tadumadze, a favorite of the ruling party among the candidates, was Bidzina Ivanishvili"s personal lawyer. Irakli Nadareishvili, is supported by a part of the majority and active prosecutors.

The National Movement expresses distrust of the prosecutor"s selection process.

"The task must be that the Prosecutor"s System will be improved after these changes"

"Ivanishvili is not going to give up the position of General Prosecutor, he wants to have a person controlled by him who will do the most of the dirty job," Tinatin Bokuchava said.
