The Patriarchate is demanding the closure of the main court , the Constitutional Court.

On behalf of the Orthodox Church, Archbishop Shio Andrea Jagmaidze made a statement.

Jagmaidze says that in the nearest future the Georgian Patriarchate will appeal to the Georgian government with this recommendation.

The reason for this radical position of the Patriarchate was the decision of the Constitutional Court.
