United National Movement demands resignation of Anzor Chubinidze, one of participants of the scandalous audio recorders.

After the scandalous secret recordings regarding the "Iberia" case ,representatives of the opposition party came to the Special State Protection Service and demanded meeting with Anzor Chubinidze, the head of the service, but they were not allowed to enter.

According to Levan Khabeishvili, member of the faction "United National Movement" of Tbilisi City Council, they will start collecting signatures on petition requesting Chubinidze"s resignation.

"This person must leave the job immediately. It is our demand. And the Prosecutors" Office has to launch an investigation quickly,"- said Levan Khabeishvili.

Irakli Nadiradze, the Chairman of UNM faction at the City Council speaks about pressure on free media. According to him, Bidzina Ivanishvili"s entourage wants only financial benefits.

A new audio recording was obtained by Courier regarding the "Iberia Case" today, where Chubinidze and Kumsishvili are involved. The audio recording reveals that the TV company"s owners are offered to solve the problem by giving Bidzina Ivanishvili"s surroundings three million.
