Grigol Vashadze together with his wife visited shelter for elderly in village of Khurvaleti

The presidential candidate of the United Opposition, along with his spouse - Nino Ananiashvili, visited the shelter for elderly in the village of Khurvaleti at the occupation line.

"House without Borders" was created by the initiative of Lyudmila Salia and is supported by the European Union and various international NGOs. Currently 11 people live in the shelter.

According to Nino Ananiashvili, the state should pay attention to the elderly.

"We should pay more attention, it concerns everybody who has the opportunity and the authorities. The elderly people remain alone after so much labor. It"s very painful for me and I want the state to pay attention, "said Nino Ananiashvili.

According to Lyudmila Salia, financing of 16 lari per day is not enough for living and medical aid.

According to Grigol Vashadze, the pension and financing of shelter will be increased soon after his coming to power.

"The state pays 16 lari per person in this shelter. I have a great desire and a request - let Beselia and Kobakhidze live on 16 GEL for one month , "- Grigol Vashadze said.
