11 NGOs call on the Parliament to share the conclusion of the investigative commission

The 11 nongovernmental organizations have assessed the conclusion prepared by the investigative commission on murder in Khorava Street.

The statement released by the Third Sector says that the Commission"s conclusion answers the set up aims and urges the parliamentary majority to share recommendations with which the Commission has addressed the government.

Otherwise, the decision to form a commission supported by 95 members of the Parliament served the aim put out the protest wave incited by Zaza Saralidze ,the father of the murdered teenager , and was not focused on the real result.

The chairman of the commission, Sergi Kapanadze responded to the statement of NGOs today.

"In this statement, they call on the government to share recommendations given in the conclusion. They point out that the Investigative Commission had a mandate that had been fulfilled. This is a very important assessment for us. I want to thank them on the one hand and on the other hand to point out that it is now the time of truth for the government. They have to decide whether they are going against the whole society or if they intend to reveal the truth, "said Sergi Kapanadze.

Leader of the parliamentary majority, Archil Talakvadze, made a statement saying that the ruling team has done everything to make the process open as much as possible.
