The United States has added 27 surnames and 6 companies to the anti-Russian sanctions for alleged intervention in the election campaign.

According to the State Department, restrictions will apply to those individuals and companies that are involved in Russia"s defense and intelligence sector or act in their interests. Among them is the private military company "Wagner".

Besides Russia, sanctions were imposed on China because of the acquisition of Russian military equipment.
