What is Georgia"s position regarding the autocephaly of Ukraine is still unknown. Before making an official statement, the Patriarchate of Georgia is waiting for concrete steps from the Constantinople and then from the Russian Patriarchate.

It is difficult to make predictions for the assistant of the Catholicos-Patriarch, Archpriest Andrew. According to him, Georgia does not participate in these very difficult discussions.

"Disagreements on this issue exist between two large churches, each of which has its own logic.
