Traders in Poti protest against the abolition of the fish market. According to the decision of the local government,a trade structure on the Rioni coast should be demolished , because it does not meet the requirements of the applicable legislation.

Traders say that they have been selling fish on different locations for years, and they have been transferred to Rioni coast two years ago according to the City Hall decision.

It is unclear why the government did not take into consideration the fact that it was a violation of law.
