The Ministry of Health states that there is a measles emidelic in the country. According to specialists Measles are the most common in people between 20 and 40 , who are not vaccinated.
According to the Health Ministry, 325 cases of measles were registered this month.
According to the infectionists, the prevention is only possible with vaccination.
"Guaranteed protection, from the spread of this disease, is available for everyone," said Health Minister David Sergeenko.
Amiran Gamkrelidze, the Director General of the Georgian National Center for Disease Control notes that most measles cases are registered in Imereti, Samegrelo, Tbilisi and Kakheti.
