The Ministry of Defense gets involved in scandal- One of the facts of extortion in one of the elite units of the Ministry was officially confirmed today. It was established that Altun Ashirov was beaten in Krtsanisi Training Center . He experienced money extortion as well

The story of the violence against the military became known only after the meeting with opposition leaders in the military unit today.

Ashriov sent a letter from the military base and asked the family to help him.

19-year-old Kazim Gakhramanov was beaten with Ahsirov as well. In an interview with Courier the soldier recalls all details about the incident.

Because of the money extortion and violence the authority of headship is suspended.

The Former defense ministers advise Levan Izoria to resign.

The Former Minister of Defense Irakli Okruashvili also voiced scandalous information about alleged corruption deals in the Ministry of Defense.
