The visit of the North Atlantic Council is a clear message and support for our country, - Vakhtang Gomelauri, Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, said in Batumi.

Today the NATO Deputy Secretary General and permanent representatives of NATO member countries paid a visit to the Batumi port, after which, Vakhtang Gomeluari spoke about the visit of the North Atlantic Council to Batumi, calling it very important for the country.

“This is a clear message, support for our country. I met with the Deputy Secretary General of NATO, as well as with representatives of the NATO member states. We viewed two vessels that had been handed over to us by the US. I would also like to emphasize that Georgia is a reliable partner of NATO, we are involved in strengthening Euro-Atlantic security", - said Gomelauri.
