"We will act according to the law" – Tadumadze about the President

If there is a need for questioning the President, we will act in accordance with law, - Prosecutor General Shalva Tadumadze said when answering a question whether President Salome Zourabichvili would be summoned to the Prosecutor"s Office.

“Investigation is ongoing. If necessary, the Prosecutor"s Office will act in accordance with law”, - said Tadumadze.

He added that “currently the investigation is questioning other persons”.

The Prosecutor"s Office launched an investigation into the Pardon Act issued by the President, after pardoning of several murders by her triggered public outcry.
