The UK will leave the EU on November 1. The EU leaders has backed a new deal at the summit in Brussels.

After two years of negotiations, London and Brussels agreed to leave the European Union yesterday. The new document must be approved by the British and EU parliaments.

The joint statement of the leaders of the 27 countries was announced after the summit.
