According to Tamar Chugoshvili, the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, the promise made by the Georgian Dream to the society - to move to a proportional system - must be fulfilled.

"We are talking on something else today. This decision is not about which electoral system is better for the country, but about when that system comes into force. That this system should come into force for the 2020 elections, we gave this promise to the public", - said Chugoshvili.
