Russian-controlled occupation forces have allegedly shot a Georgian citizen yesterday who was trying to cross the occupation line.
According to the State Security Service of Georgia, the hot line has been activated for the alleged incident and the agency is looking into the details.
As the Head of Zugdidi hospital Sulkhan Orzhonia says, the wounded patient from occupied Abkhazia entered the clinic late yesterday and later he was transported to Kutaisi hospital: “The middle-aged man was shot in the leg and his health condition is stable”.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation was launched under the first part of Article 118.
