Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili held a meeting with his Danish colleague Lars Løkke Rasmussen.

The parties discussed Georgia’s European integration path, reviewed the European Commission’s positive recommendation to grant Georgia EU candidate country status and all current issues of cooperation.

Rasmussen highlighted Denmark’s support for Georgia’s foreign priorities, Darchiashvili stressed Georgia’s strong partnership with Denmark.

They also touched on the Nordic format, which provides a new arena for regional and multilateral cooperation.
