The 24th Tbilisi International Film Festival was opened in “Amirani” cinema with the film “Forced Migration of Butterflies” by Nana Jorjadze.

The festival guests will be able to watch the already internationally acclaimed “Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry” by Georgian filmmaker Elene Naveriani, Nana Janelidze’s “Lisa, go on” and more than 10 short and full-length Georgian films.

Competition films will be evaluated by an international jury. The ceremonial closing of the film festival and the award ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 2.

Tbilisi International Film Festival was first established in 2000. It was born within a larger art festival framework entitled Gift, which carried numerous supporters and sponsors.
