Georgian parliamentary delegation is in the political capital of Europe. The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament will meet today with the NATO’s Deputy Secretary General, Mircea Geoană.

Yesterday Shalva Papuashvili held meetings with the Ambassadors of the US, France, Turkey, Great Britain, Romania, Poland, and other NATO member states. Discussions centered on NATO-Georgia relations, the current situation in Russia-occupied regions, regional cooperation, Georgia’s democratic reforms, conflicts, and security challenges in the South Caucasus and the Black Sea region.

Additionally, a NATO-Georgia Commission meeting, with Speaker’s participation, will take place today.

The Georgian delegation accompanying the Speaker includes Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Irakli Beraia, Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee, and MP Ketevan Turazashvili.
