The Government does not take a single step to establish a mechanism for the implementation of the “Otkhozoria - Tatunashvili list”. Such a statement made today Khatia Dekanoidze, the MP from the EuroOptimists.

“The killing of another Georgian citizen, Temur Karbaia, by the occupation regime is once again a proof of how human rights are trampled underfoot in the occupied territory.

There is “Otkhozoria – Tatunashvili’s list”, according to which not only serious sanctions and punishments should be imposed on the people who are responsible for all this, but the Georgian Government should take concrete steps in this direction. Despite the fact that we have these very serious facts, despite the fact that Georgian citizens are kidnapped or killed every month, the government does not take a single step to establish a mechanism for the implementation of the “Otkhozoria - Tatunashvili list”, in this regard, the authorities have no strategy. Today there is a meeting of the Human Rights Committee and I intend to put exactly this issue on the agenda”, - said Khatia Dekanoidze.

In the occupied Gali district, the so-called militsiya verbally insulted and beat Georgian citizen, Temur Karbaia. He died immediately after being taken to the hospital.
