The Mayor of Tbilisi said today that he thinks “now Georgia will definitely get candidate status of the European Union”.

“[Viktor] Orbán is one of the important supporters of our country, the European future of our country, European integration.

So, of course, Georgia deserved the status before too, when that unfair decision was made in relation to Georgia. But now I think that Georgia will definitely get the [EU candidate] status, which is important for us”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
