Over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders most actively stormed the Kupiansk and Avdiivka fronts and tried to drive the Defence Forces from their foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro River, with a total of 42 combat engagements taking place. General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote on Facebook

The operational situation on the Volyn and Polissia fronts remained the same. No signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russian forces maintain a military presence in the border areas, carrying out sabotage and reconnaissance activities, attacking settlements from the territory of Russia and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 Russian attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Kharkiv Oblast. The Russians also carried out airstrikes near Petropavlivka and Hlushkivka in Kharkiv Oblast.

The Russian forces did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions on the Lyman front. On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 3 Russian attacks at Bohdanivka and Andriivka, Donetsk Oblast, where the Russian forces unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops.

On the Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 Russian attacks east of Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka and another 10 attacks in the areas of Pervomaiske and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast, where the Russians, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to break through the defences. On the Marinka front, Ukraine’s Armed Forces continue to restrain the Russians in the areas of Mariinka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk Oblast. Here, the Russian forces made two unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Armed Forces repelled two attacks in the areas of Robotyne and south of Novodarivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Here, the Russians, with the support of aviation, unsuccessfully tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions.

The Russians didn’t abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units from the left bank of the Dnipro River. During the day, the Russian forces carried out 13 unsuccessful assault actions on the positions of Ukrainian troops. They received a decent rebuff, suffered significant losses. Ukrainian forces are holding the line, continuing to hold their positions, inflicting fire on the Russians. During the day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted 17 clusters of Russian personnel, weapons, military equipment, 2 anti-aircraft missile systems. Units of the Rocket Forces and Artillery targeted 2 clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment, four artillery systems and two ammunition depots.
