The National Environment Agency forecasts relatively cold and rainy weather in Georgia starting from today, January 9.

Cooler temperatures and rain are expected on coastal areas [Adjara, Anaklia, Poti] and lowland areas of Western Georgia [Kutaisi, Zestafoni, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti].

On January 9 – 11, rainy weather is predicted in the mountainous regions of Western Georgia [Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo] and snowfall in the Western Georgia mountains [Mestia, Bakhmaro]. Snow is also expected in the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia [Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo].
