The EU Ambassador to Georgia expressed readiness for close and constructive cooperation with the next government of Georgia.
“We have been working very closely with the previous government, and the previous Prime Minister. On December 14 of last year, we had a historic decision of the European Council to grant Georgia candidate status. I am looking forward to a close and constructive cooperation with the next government.
Today, we might have some announcements, there is a process in the parliament. We need to wait and see. I myself am very interested in what will be the composition of the new Government, but I want to assure you that whatever decision is made, we, the European Union, are ready to work with the newly elected Prime Minister and the newly appointed ministers in order for Georgia to succeed on the path of European integration”, - said Pawel Herczynski.
