The Tbilisi City Hall starts rehabilitation works in Vere Park. Such a statement made today Mayor of the capital.

“Rehabilitation works are starting in Vere Park. It is one of the oldest and historical recreational spaces. Since the beginning of the twentieth century, it has been a prominent park both in the neighborhood and in the city. It is designed for people of any age.

Within the framework of the project, special attention was paid to the maintenance and improvement of existing planning and activities, and the integration of new functions suitable for the environment.

After the rehabilitation of Vere Park, a well-furnished, modern recreational and entertainment space equipped with modern engineering systems will be introduced in Tbilisi, which will be adapted to any person of different interests and ages. Within the framework of rehabilitation works, two playgrounds of children will be organized according to age - for children from one to three years old and from three to 12 years old.

Also, there will be a dog walking area, outdoor lighting system, walking paths, fountain, outdoor drinking fountain, park furniture, recreation pavilion, sports field, football field, belvedere, administrative building and restroom. Perennial trees and plants in the park will be preserved, and green spaces will also will be added. The said rehabilitation works will be completed by the end of 2025”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
