Election Administration (EA) of Georgia conducts large-scale project as part of its information campaign regarding electronic elections. Mock elections are being held at 598 electoral precincts across Georgia, including the regions that are densely populated with ethnic minorities. A mock election started on 11 p.m. and will last until 6 p.m.

Voters will personally experience how the verification and vote counting devices function in practice. Explanations on registration procedures will be delivered to them by election administrators.

Additionally, voters will firsthand complete the registration procedures such as coloring the sample circle on the ballot paper, being available on the registrar’s table, coloring the circle on the ballot paper in the secret polling booth, placing a ballot paper in a frame-envelope for ensuring the secrecy and placing it in vote counting device (box).
