The Head of the Parliamentary Delegation to PACE, the Chair of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikanadze attended the sitting of the Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights in Paris.
The sitting agenda included the interviews with the candidates nominated by Cyprus, Poland and Slovenia.
The basic questions to the candidates submitted by Mikanadze concerned the challenges encountered by the European Court of Human Rights.
He also participated in the debates and secret ballots related to the selection of the candidates. The ballot results will be submitted to the PACE, within which, the Judges will be elected at the common session at the beginning of October.
