The World Bank’s Prosperity Data published the Effective Crime Control Index, based on 11 years of research by the World Justice Project, which assesses the rule of law in 142 countries.
The Index showed Georgia ranked among the top 20 countries globally.
The country earned 92% on a 100% assessment system. This places Georgia the 10th in Europe, alongside Ireland and Romania.
The Index revealed that Georgia was outperforming the majority of developed countries, six countries of the G7, 24 members of the EU and NATO.
Georgia ranks first among the post-Soviet space countries and leads all neighbouring countries.
