Prime Minister will address world leaders, highlighting country’s progress in promoting peace, stability, economic development - David Bakradze

The Prime Minister of Georgia will address the world leaders at the general debate of the UN General Assembly and introduce the progress achieved by Georgia in the areas of peace and stability in the region, as well as economic development and many other directions. Such a statement made today the Permanent Representative of Georgia to the UN, David Bakradze.

“Irakli Kobakhidze will make his first speech today at the “Future Summit” within the framework of his visit to New York, and will also hold a meeting with UN Secretary General António Guterres.

A number of events are planned within the framework of the high-level week, in which the Prime Minister of Georgia will take part and where meetings will be held with the leaders of different countries.

The main topics of conversation will be peace and security in the region, progress and reforms of Georgia, which are important for many countries of the world.

Based on the specifics of the UN, one of the most important things in which Georgia has shown significant progress in recent years is the economic development of the country, peace and security in the region, in which Georgia makes a very large contribution. So, the conversation will concern the current events in the region, the progress of Georgia and also those reforms that are important for many countries of the world”, - said David Bakradze.
