Speech at UN focused on Russia’s occupation of 20% of Georgian territory, including Abkhazia and Tskhinvali - Kobakhidze

The address at the United Nations highlighted the ongoing occupation of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region, addressing the fact that Russia has occupied 20% of Georgia’s territory - a reality that nobody disputes. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“The territories of Georgia are under the occupation of the Russian Federation. This is well understood by all. Russia’s occupation of 20% of our land is an undeniable fact.

At the UN, we discussed the occupation, as well as the situations in Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region, reaffirming the importance of Georgia’s territorial integrity”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
