The agreement between the Government of Georgia and the Government of the Kingdom of Spain on the mutual recognition and exchange of national driving licenses entered into force.
According to the agreement, holders of a valid driving permit in force issued by one of the parties will be able to obtain the equivalent driving permits in the state of their legal residence without passing a theoretical or practical test.
Georgia has also signed similar agreements with Ireland and the Hellenic Republic.
The agreement between the Government of Georgia and the Government of the Hellenic Republic on the mutual recognition and exchange of driving permits will enter into force after the completion of the relevant internal procedures by the parties, and the exchange of Georgian driving permits in Ireland is already available.
