The Georgian National Tourism Administration [GNTA] said the country had hosted almost 6 million international travelers in the 1st nine months of 2024, marking a 4.1% year-on-year increase.

Additionally, 3.99 million international tourists visits took place in the country during the reporting period, reflecting a 9.2% increase from 2023.

“The growth trend continued into the 3rd quarter of the year, with 2.77 million international travellers visiting in a 2.5% increase from the same period in 2023. The number of international tourist visits during this quarter amounted to 1.86 million, signifying an 8.3% increase compared to the 2023”, - says GNTA.
