New Emergency Management Service office opens in Oni

Georgian deputy interior ministers Ioseb Chelidze and Aleksandre Darakhvelidze opened a new office for the Emergency Management Service in Oni.

Constructed to modern standards, the new facility is equipped with the latest technology, Ministrry said, with work and rest rooms, a dedicated training space, a training room, and a gym for employees. An operational management centre has also been established within the building, where messages received by the Service in Racha will be monitored and sent to fire and rescue teams.

The building’s yard includes a designated parking area for fire and rescue vehicles and solar energy panels on the roof, with the new facility also adapted for individuals with special needs.
