This is not just an election, but a decisive referendum, where the Georgian people have to choose whether they want war or peace, whether they support immoral propaganda or traditional values. The Prime Minister of Georgia said this at the regional event of the election campaign in Batumi.
“Georgia is two weeks away from the decisive elections, which have the importance of a referendum.
Once again, we must remember that this is not just an election, but a decisive referendum, where the Georgian people must choose whether they want war or peace, whether they support immoral propaganda or traditional values, whether they choose the dark past or the bright, European future of Georgia.
There is no alternative to peace, traditional values and the bright future of Georgia, and therefore that’s why on October 26, voters should make a decisive choice that will preserve peace and bring development to Georgia.
Until 2012, Georgia was ruled by a foreign agency, an authoritarian regime of stateless politicians, which made us remember by killing and torturing people, business racketeering, hijacking TV stations, falsifying elections, war and losing 20% of Georgia’s territories. Along with these heinous crimes, the regime was not distinguished by economic achievements either, and in 2012 Georgian Dream took over the heaviest inheritance from them.
For every Georgian, Adjara and Batumi are the region and the city for which we all have a special love. I am glad that today this area and this city is much more developed than it was 12 years ago. We will do everything to make Adjara and Batumi even more beautiful, developed. For this, first of all, it is necessary to maintain peace and firmly, honorably protect our national interests”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
