7 additional polling stations will be opened in different cities abroad

According to the decision of the Central Election Commission, 7 additional polling stations will be opened in different cities, taking into account the number of voters in exile and registered.

In particular, polling stations will be opened in 7 cities - New York, Berlin, Barcelona, Rome, Athens, Thessaloniki and Paris.

“One polling station will be added to the number of existing polling stations in all the mentioned 7 locations, which I think is an important decision. Besides, within 3 days, the relevant authorized political unions will have the opportunity to appoint their members to the mentioned districts”, - said Giorgi Kalandarishvili, the Chairman of the CEC.

As he added, 67 polling stations in 53 cities of 42 countries will serve the citizens of Georgia in different states during the October 26 parliamentary elections.
