Despite the fact that we inherited the worst legacy from the UNM, we managed to do the impossible and fundamentally improved the situation in all areas, in all directions. Bidzina Ivanishvili, the founder and Honorary Chair of the Georgian Dream, said this in his speech at a final campaign meeting in Tbilisi.

“Under the Georgian Dream Government, the development and success of Georgia were reflected by numerous international rankings and studies. The Georgian Government and the Georgian Dream did everything to maintain continuous peace in the country, despite constant attempts to organize revolutions and to disrupt the country by foreign or local ill-wishers.

Today, at the end of this difficult path, when we have almost brought the country to peace, the main battle line is the October 26 elections. To put it more simply, on October 26 the agenda is not political sympathy-antipathy, but the issue of Georgia’s presence-non-existence.

If the Georgian Dream wins in the parliamentary elections, which not only me, but all of Georgia, including our opponents, are sure of, we will not only maintain peace and save the country, but we will win, because the years of development and reconstruction and integration into the EU are ahead of us”, - said Bidzina Ivanishvili.
