Representatives of police units are mobilized and are protecting public order at the ongoing demonstration in the vicinity of the Parliament, reads the statement, released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Shortly after the start of the gathering, aggressive members of the protest began to engage in unlawful and violent acts.

In particular, members of the protest are verbally abusing law enforcement officers and throwing various types of blunt objects, pyrotechnics, and flammable objects in their direction.

Once again, we call on each participant of the demonstration to express their protest within the norms established by law and refrain from unlawful actions.

Each violation will be followed by an appropriate legal response from the police”, - reads the statement.
