Security personnel at Chișinău International Airport detected an explosive device concealed in a toy car with a remote control during the processing of postal items.

According to the local media, the item was imported from Ukraine and was intended for transport on a flight to Tbilisi.

Officers from the Technical-Forensic and Judicial Expertise Center successfully defused the suspicious object.
