Policeman lost his eyesight due to injuries sustained during a protest on November 29, where he was struck by a blunt object thrown by radical opposition activists, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Tuesday.

The officer was injured when opposition activists threw a blunt object at him.

The officer underwent multiple surgeries in Georgia and Turkey, but unfortunately, due to the severity of the damage, doctors were unable to save his sight.
