Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus, posing as former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov, called to the former president of Georgia.

During the call, Salome Zourabichvili stated that the opposition was facing a critical shortage of funds: “The financial support had primarily come from USAID and certain European foundations”.

As she added, “European funding had been slow, with promises of redirected funds from suspended Government programs yet to materialize”.
