A landslide occurred this morning near the village of Babili. The heavy machinery has been mobilized on the territory.

According to Gia Oniani, Mayor of Lentekhi Municipality, the road is expected to be cleared within a few hours.

Representatives from the Road Department and local authorities are also on site. They noted that the road will reopen to traffic as soon as possible.

Vehicle traffic is temporarily prohibited on a section of the Kutaisi-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the landslide.
